Our work is dedicated exclusively to holistic healing and spiritual growth through a series of focused and guided ceremonial experiences in genuine core Peruvian sacred plant shamanism.  The ceremonies are surrounded by multi-dimensional activities designed to help you integrate these experiences into your daily life.  The Ayahuasca Odyssey is an intense, accelerated, highly charged course in the principles and practice of ancient core shamanism of the Peruvian Amazon.

We are discriminating in whom we accept for participation.  In every Odyssey it is our aim to form a genuine global cofraternity of kindred spirits who find more in common than in their differences.  People who can treat others in the same manner and spirit in which they wish to be treateed.  People who will enter into a deep spiritual journey both within themselves and shared with others.

We don't do "tours" and we're not tour operators.  Our work is not for casual tourists looking for a novel vacation, nor is it "ayahuasca tourism" for the seeker of experience alone.

 We are maestros and curanderos, teachers and healers.  We conduct our work in a highly professional and ethical manner with your safety and best interests always our highest priority.

We specialize in the guidance and facilitation of real traditional shamanic healing and spiritual growth work which is fundamentally results-oriented rather than solely experience-oriented.  The positive and enduring benefits of these deep experiences in your life are what matter most.

We therefore wish to invest our time and energy with those individuals who have such important motives in mind.  Appropriate advance preparation is very important to realize the best results and we will assist you in this regard.

Because of the delicate nature of our activities, we have an application screening procedure to help assure your safety and compatibility with our focus, activities, and style of work.   We will forward our application questionnaire with detailed registration instructions by e-mail when you confirm your desire to join in our work.

personalized healing diagnosis and prescription of traditional Amazonian plant medicines as needed (elective)

friendship, trading, and instructional visits with neighboring indigenous Bora, Yahua, Huitoto, and Shipibo people
Indigenous cultural demonstrations focusing on native foods, medicines, art, craft, and ceremonial inebriants
medicinal gray clay baths at the 'enchanted stream' (subject to suitable water level)

Registration does not include:
airfare
airport taxes
bottled drinks (temporary abstinence from alcoholic beverages is required for serious work with traditional plant medicines)
restaurant meals
travelers' insurance (optional ... including but not limited to personal injury and loss due to accident or theft)
evacuation or emergency medical expenses
items of a personal nature
special personal services, i.e. massage, laundry, etc.

Tips and honoraria are appropriate for our local service staff and the esteemed banco ayahuasquero don Rober based on your satisfaction, means, and generosity.

We cannot be responsible for losses due to theft, accident, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Odyssey group size is limited to thirty people.

The illuminating four day Huachuma Serpent Mesa extension is a joyous and revelatory celebration of the wisdom of the serpent with the grand maestro Huachuma amidst the verdant splendor of the shamanic lower world which is the Amazon.

The Solstice Ayahuasca Odyssey celebration officially commences upon our arrival at the SpiritQuest Sanctuary on the starting date and concludes with breakfast and transportation to the Iquitos airport on the morning of the closing date.

SPECIAL NOTE: To insure coordination of arrivals, we ask that you book your Lima-Iquitos-Lima online at http://www.starperu.com. Your electronic tickets will be waiting for you at the Star Peru Airline counter at the Lima International Airport.  Just present your passport as ID two hours before departure time.

Your international flight should arrive in Lima by 0230 AM on the starting date to insure your connection with the morning Star Peru Airlines flight 276 to Iquitos.  As of June, 2008 this flight departs Lima at 0900 hrs (AM).  Departure times are subject to change by the airlines on short notice.

Coordination of all arrivals of this flight will assure smooth transition from airport to the rainforest and avoid potential confusion and risk.  Therefore if you choose to book your own flights to and from Iquitos, be sure to book your arrival in Iquitos on Aero Condor flight 276 on your arrival date.

NOTE: If booking your own flights within Perú, remember that air travel increases after December 10 and fares often increase as well.  We recommend you make your reservations as early as possible to insure your flights.

Early registration insures your space and guarantees the registration cost.
