The Maestro  of the Chavín Mesa Don Choque Chinchay

Don Choque Chinchay was born as Howard Lawler in 1947.  He  is a genuine maestro curandero (master; teacher healer) of the classical Peruvian huachuma mesa in the most sophisticated lineage of all time, the Chavín.  His knowledge and mastery of the mesa art has been honed over four decades of practice as a shaman, healer and seer in service to holistic healing and higher consciousness..

Known affectionately as Don Howardcito among his many friends and allies in Perú and elsewhere, he dedicated his shamanic apprenticeship to the Peruvian mesa modality in the early 1970{d, diligently studying the esoteric and anthropological literature to engage the metaphysical principles of duality in the universal order in his constantly evolving mesa practice.  Don Howardcito is a wholly plant-taught practitioner in the original archaic tradition because he understood that the original knowledge of the mesa first came to human beings directly from the Source through the sacred plants themselves.

Don Howardcito is a true caballero of the old Chavín circular plaza, the original grandmother of the mesa.  He has initiated many hundreds of sincere seekers to a deeper understanding of their spiritual destiny and human potential through his dynamic mastery of the mesa art.

A man of high integrity, genuine human warmth, humility, compassion, and strength but not possessed by power, he conducts his work in deep concentration, honestly, straightforward, and without deception.  He is a man of his word with a deep sense of commitment and responsibility to those who invest their trust in him.  He is a rare find in this day and time, a pure and dedicated practitioner of the original Chavin Mesa style, perhaps the most profound mystical practice every conceived by man.

The Chavin Mesa is conducted very differently from most contemporary San Pedro mesadas.  Unfortunatelyh much contemporary San Pedro mesa work  focuses more on changing one{s luck, love magic, material gain, or witchcraft rather than pure healing and transformation of consciousness.  At the Chavín Mesa, all the energy is focused on cleansing, holistic healing and opening the vision of those present so that they too may see what the maestro Sees.   The Chavín Mesa is INCLUSIVE, not EXCLUSIVE.  There is no illusion, no deception, and no secrets are held by the maestro at the Chavín Mesa.   The Chavín Mesa is all about healing, transformation, and revelation of Truth, to help everyone present to Oneness with the true Powers That Be.

Don Howardcito is a Peruvian citizen and the perfect global transcultural bridge.  Fluent in Spanish and English, he is respected as a curandero and seravant of the people whever he goes in Perú.  He conducts monthly huachuma and ayahuasca healing work in the Peruvian Amazon where he resides with his wife and two children, and every three months he leads mesa pilgrimages along the north coast and in the central Andes.
