The stones making up Pisac's buildings are smaller than those at Saqsayhuamán, but the precision with which they are cut and fit is truly remarkable.   In fact, some aspects of the stonemasonry is more awesome than that at Machu Picchu.  There are residential buildings and towers that some scientists say may have been astronomical observation spots.  The views of the sacred valley and the surrounding mountains from this site are stunning.
