BUDGET

We seek funding for investigators' expenses and stipend for eight months in the Peruvian Amazon, portable digital recording equipment, technical production, reproduction, and distribution.

four roundtrips from U.S. to Iquitos - $4,000
regional travel in rural Departamento Loreto, Perú  - $3,000

Food and Lodging - $3,100
four months (124 days) @ $25/diem x 2 = $3,100

Recording equipment - subtotal $5,500
Digital stereo hi fi mini-disc recorder - $2,000
Five high quality lapel microphones - $1,000
100 hours digital recording tape - $2,000
batteries/chargers - $500

Digital production, duplication, distribution - subtotal $20,000
Studio production and editing - $5,000
Duplication (5,000 copies) - $10,000
Distribution - $5,000

Total project cost - $36,000
