The Forests of the Sachamama contain one of the greatest diversities of reptile and amphibian life found anywhere on the planet. There is no way to even list all of the species with a simple description and keep it under say one hundred pages. We will at some time put up some check list, but for now we are going to look at some of the more interesting, unusual, and rare "little dragons" found throughout these forests. One of the first denizens to be examined is the Mother of the Forest; also called the anaconda. This creature is the largest snake found on the planet. It may or may not be the longest with verified reports over 35 feet in length, but in shear size, girth, and weight she is unrivaled.
